Pleasebe advised that we need to obtain permits for all team fundraisingefforts and tournaments. Be sure your team follows the following LeducMinor Hockey Guidelnes:
Directors
Due to past difficulties with our raffle permits, LMHA will be implementing these new guidelines.
* No team shall hold a draw or raffle without obtaining a permit from registries
* No team shall obtain a permit without registering the draw with Fundraising Coordinator (Denise Jakubowski)
*No funds raised from raffle are to be released to team untilnotification from Fundraising Coordinator that all paperwork iscomplete
Managers
Please ensure your team follows these new guidelines.
* all teams must obtain permits for raffles or draws
* manager must register draw with Fundraising Coordinator (Denise Jakubowski) in order to obtain a permit
* all money raised to be deposited with level director
* final financial report must be completed prior to having funds released from director

Prize Table would require one permit if all prizes were eligible tobe won. If you add a prize that not everyone can win then you needanother permit.
50/50 draws would require a permit. A blanketpermit is available if you list all games to be covered under the onepermit. They are good for one year from date of purchase. If your teampurchases a blanket permit you must not change the dates or gameswithout getting an amendment to your permit as it is only valid forwhat you have listed.
If your team uses a square board for the 50/50 you must give the customer a ticket or stub stating what squares they chose.
Puck Toss does not require a permit as it is won on skill not chance.
Whenhosting a tournament you may want to source donations or sponsorshipsfor your tournament - please print off the following letter and use forLMHA donation or sponsorship.

SPIRIT OF HOCKEY CALENDAR FUNDRAISER IDEA:
This could be a good fund raiser for the Initiation & Tom Thumb teamseven up to Pee Wee. The minimum you can order is 50. People sell themfor $20.00 and after all is sold - Spirit of Hockey reimburses you back$10.00 per calendar sold. So teams are making $10.00 a calendar.
